Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
